Cricket in Kuwait is very popular amongst the expat population from the subcontinent, played weekly on a local level amongst teams formed on the bonds of passion for the gentleman's game.
So when a well promoted event as TACK's 4 Nation T20 Festival comes along, that makes it a not to miss out weekend event. Especially for the line up of international cricketers coming over and having a go with the lads from Kuwait.
For lovers of the game, names like Herschelle Gibbs,Azhar Mahmood, Scott Styris, Aravinda D'silva, Upul Chandana need no introduction, and least of all Yusuf Pathan.
With my family along, we managed to catch up the penultimate game of the day between India and Sri Lanka at the scenic Doha Entertainment City Cricket Ground. The mood was electric and the crowd lively. Shared below are shots from the game.
