Sadeer Farms, Abdali

On a bright winter morning, we took the drive to North of Kuwait to Sadeer Farms. With a friend's family along, the hour and half long drive seemed quite small. The kids chirping away, ladies catching up and the guys with eyes on the road.

As we got closer to the destination, we sensed a change in the landscape around us. Upon reaching Sadeer Farms we looked up for our booked shaded area and cleared the payment formalities.

Once inside, the scale of the farm hit us. It's large enough, with a variety of vegetables grown on the farm. Corn, beet, carrots, tomatoes, cauliflower and cabbage to name a few.

The sight of a green field full of vegetable produce in Kuwait is one to behold. A walk through the fields with the kids is refreshing and infuses the value of the fresh greens on their plates.

All in all Sadeer Farms is a great place for seeing the farm to table movement in action in Kuwait. Also it's remote location and fair amenities like the tent, shaded area and the private bbq area make for a great outing.
